Lead Data Architect

Join a global life science and healthcare company as a Lead Data Architect within the Data & Analytics organization. The position combines enterprise data architecture, technical leadership and hands-on.

In this role, you will shape the data architecture strategy for the Product Supply domain and drive the design of scalable, secure and future-ready data platforms supporting advanced analytics and AI.

Key responsibilities

  • Defining and developing the data architecture strategy for solutions supporting the Product Supply area.
  • Leading architectural discussions and making key technology decisions.
  • Designing scalable data platforms and solutions supporting advanced analytics and AI.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders and technology teams on strategic initiatives.
  •  Providing technical guidance and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Evaluating new technologies and defining the development roadmap for data platforms.
  • Ensuring architecture compliance with requirements related to security, scalability, performance, and data quality.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of solutions leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics.

Ideal candidate profile

  • Experience in designing data architecture for enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling.
  • Experience in designing data integration architecture.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and solutions.
  • Experience in designing and developing modern data platforms.
  • Experience in defining target architecture and technical standards.
  • Experience in Product Supply, Supply Chain, FMCG, CPG, or production/operational environments.
  • Practical experience with the Azure platform, particularly Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience in leading technical teams and mentoring architects and engineers.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI, RAG, Machine Learning, and AI-enabled applications.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with AI Engineers and evaluate architectural solutions in the AI domain.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and SAP BW.
  • Experience working with Azure AI Foundry, Power BI, and MLOps.
  • Knowledge of container technologies and services (Container Services).
  • Experience in designing or working with Knowledge Graphs.

Conditions

  • Location: Warsaw
  • Work model: Hybrid (to be agreed)
  • Contract type: Employment contract (UoP)
  • Salary: PLN 25,000–32,000 gross PLN/month+ annual bonus
