DevOps Engineer

Do you enjoy troubleshooting complex environments and keeping delivery teams running smoothly? We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support global implementation teams working with a legacy configuration platform. You will help stabilise existing environments, resolve pipeline failures and support migration to AWS while a next-generation solution is being developed. Join a newly established team, help shape its ways of working and make a practical impact on day-to-day delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Support global implementation teams by managing configuration environments, build pipelines and related development tools.
  • Investigate and resolve pipeline failures, deployment issues and operational problems within a legacy configuration platform.
  • Maintain environments running on virtual machines and RHEL-based servers, as well as containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Support the migration of legacy environments to AWS, enabling continued access for customers and implementation teams working on application configurations.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to improve platform stability and efficiency, addressing underlying causes rather than relying solely on short-term fixes.
  • Document troubleshooting findings, share reusable solutions across teams and help establish support processes and ways of working.

Ideal candidate profile

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including hands-on DevOps support and troubleshooting of existing application environments.
  • Practical experience with Python, RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and RPM-based deployments, including virtual-machine and server-based environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS, Docker and Kubernetes for cloud-based deployments.
  • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitHub Actions or workflows.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and PostgreSQL, combined with advanced spoken and written English.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and confidence working with incomplete documentation; a relevant degree, experience with VS Code extensions, Behave/Gherkin testing or reStructuredText (RST) documentation would be an advantage.

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden
Work Model: Hybrid

Employment Type: Regular Employment or B2B (up to you)
