Senior Data Architect

Join a global life science and healthcare company as a Senior Data Architect within the Data Assets, Analytics & AI organization.

In this role, you will help shape and develop data platforms, data products and analytics solutions supporting global Commercial, Marketing, Sales, CRM and eCommerce teams. You will combine data architecture, hands-on technical knowledge and technical leadership, translating business requirements into scalable, production-ready data solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Designing and developing end-to-end data architecture for global Commercial and Analytics solutions.
  • Translating business requirements into scalable data platforms, data products and technical solutions.
  • Defining and evolving data models, data integration architecture and data pipelines.
  • Establishing and maintaining standards for data quality, governance, cataloguing and compliance.
  • Promoting a Data as a Product mindset across data assets and products.
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to Data Engineering teams.
  • Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, analysts and technology teams.
  • Supporting the delivery of production-ready data solutions and ensuring high standards of reliability and scalability.
  • Contributing to the evolution of the Azure Data Platform and modern data engineering practices.
  • Supporting analytics and reporting solutions, including KPI modelling and analytics products.

Ideal candidate profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data & Analytics as a Senior Data Architect, Lead Data Architect or Principal Data Engineer.
  • Strong experience in data architecture, data modelling and data integration.
  • Hands-on experience with data pipelines and modern data engineering solutions.
  • Knowledge of data quality management, data governance, data cataloguing and data compliance.
  • Understanding of the Data as a Product mindset.
  • Strong commercial experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
  • Experience in leading or coordinating Data Engineering teams.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Good understanding of GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, version control, pull requests and code reviews.
  • Understanding of software development and DevOps practices in a production data engineering environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a FMCG, CPG, Consumer Health or other commercial environment
  • Experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau beyond basic reporting.
  • Experience with advanced analytics or AI-enabled data solutions.

Conditions

  • Location: Warsaw
  • Work model: Hybrid (to be agreed)
  • Contract type: Employment contract (UoP)
  • Salary: PLN 20,000–25,000 gross PLN/month+ annual bonus
