Cybersecurity Remediation Specialist

For our client, one of the largest banks in the Nordic region, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Remediation Specialist.

In this role, you will act as the central point of coordination between technical teams, security stakeholders, and business representatives, ensuring that security risks are properly assessed, prioritized, and addressed in a timely manner.

• Leading and coordinating the analysis, assessment, and remediation of significant security issues and risks.
• Managing multiple security remediation cases simultaneously, from identification through to successful resolution and closure.
• Acting as the central point of contact between technical teams, cybersecurity teams, and business representatives.
• Ensuring that risks are properly assessed and prioritized, and addressed in line with the organization’s risk appetite and applicable security standards.
• Monitoring progress, identifying potential blockers, and coordinating the actions required to resolve them.
• Coordinating the work of individuals involved in specific remediation processes and ensuring the timely delivery of agreed actions.
• Preparing and communicating updates to stakeholders regarding case status, risk levels, priorities, and next steps.
• Ensuring effective communication and collaboration between all parties involved throughout the remediation process.

• Approximately 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Practical experience in IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security.
• Experience in IT Risk Management.
• Good knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn unclear situations into clear and actionable solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to take initiative and drive assigned tasks through to completion.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to have:

• Security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or CREST.
• Experience working with findings from Offensive Security Testing or Operational Security activities.

• Duration of the project: 01.10.2026 - 18.12.2026, Candidates available ASAP are preferred
